Carefully selected by a team of industry visionaries, winners don’t just receive an award; their achievements are showcased in All About Jazz’s weekly newsletter, featured prominently on the All About Jazz website and forever enshrined on our Jazz Forward award recipients page. Recipients also appear as roundtable guests on Lawrence Peryer’s award-winning Spotlight On podcast and are featured in an annual announcement circulated by DL Media to industry professionals worldwide.

Lawrence Peryer

Lawrence Peryer has long worked at the intersection of music, technology and community, bringing fans closer to the artists and experiences they love. He has held leadership roles at multiple startups and established companies including Live Nation, Warner Music and Amazon. In addition to operating his own entertainment consultancy, he hosts the music and arts podcast Spotlight On.

Joseph Vella

Joseph Vella has spent the past three decades as a forward thinking force in the digital music space specialized on content development, marketing strategies, audio and video production, podcasting, and social media branding. He is the founder of Jazz Online.
